Meat Consumption Is Hurting Our Planet
A Healthier Alternative
“Let thy food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”
– Hippocrates
Plants are rich in fiber which can help lower cholesterol, stabilize blood sugar, and is excellent for good bowel health. It also reduces the risk of cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and mental illnesses.
Do You Really Need Meat?
A plant-based diet is not only the easiest and healthiest way to lose weight and keep it off, but all the ‘side effects’ are good ones,” says Dr. Barnard. “It’s a powerful way to turn conditions such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure, or type 2 diabetes around.” Dr. Neal Barnard is author, clinical researcher and founder of Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine.
Be a Superhero!
The best part about shifting to a plant-based diet is knowing your diet choices protect the environment. Turning ranch land into forests will mitigate the effects of climate change and create new habitats and reduce water pollution. You don’t need to have a cape to be a superhero—you just need to choose to switch to delicious and healthy vegetables!
Help support our cause
Why is it important to help.
Sustainable Earth Eating wants to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by educating the public about meat consumption’s impact on our climate.
We Love Animals. Just Not On our Plates.
You can help us spread the word by making a donation to SEE that is tax deductible.
Presently, we are teaching awareness classes in Montgomery County in after school. With every donation of $20.00 we can reach out and educate another 10 students.
Thank you for your contribution to help educate the public of food choice on climate change. Be the change!
